Contextes
- Body stored for a long time
- Dirty mechanism or movement slowed by old deposits
- Return sometimes improves after manual manipulation
Causes a envisager
For this symptom, inspect the frame-counter toothed wheel area and the small lever that slides in its rail. Local dirt can be enough to block or slow the return to zero.
Checks utiles
- Observe whether the toothed wheel turns freely
- Check whether dirt or residue is dragging under the wheel
- Check that the lever in the rail is not obstructed or stuck by deposits
- Check whether targeted cleaning of the frame-counter area improves the return; see the procedure
